Whats the best laptop to buy under $700?
Okay, here’s the deal ;
My parents are letting me get a laptop next year, for my graduation, but they are cheap, and only want to spend 700 dollars or less. I would like Windows 7 too, I dislike Vista, and Windows XP, will be very outdated by 2010.
Here is what I need one for :
Typing, lots of typing, making movies, editing photos, IM, AIM, Internet, wireless, holding lots of pictures, and documents, and games.
All in all, I need a cheap, efficient laptop, which I would appreciate if it looked nice, and it needs to be easy for use. I hear everyones opinions. Such as, Dell. People say Dell laptops are a load of junk, but from others, I hear they’re perfect. With HP, I hear they are excellent, but My Dad knows this guy from a big computer company, and he says HP sucks.
Please help me, I want a laptop!
“Best” is a very personal matter. For me, “Best” is the HP Pavilion line of laptops. I know others who think Sony or Toshiba are better.
My suggestion would be to go to a traditional brick-and-mortar store and look at the different models. There are many big-name laptops available in the $700 price range.
As for your father’s friend, if that Big Computer Company is a competitor of HP, his opinion may be biased. I used to work for a Big Computer Company and talked trash about our competitors. Now I can be more honest.
