Help with Toshiba Laptop Charger?

I have had my Toshiba laptop since Christmas, now there are problems with the charger. My laptop does not charge at all now, at first I had to position it ever so carefully so it could the least bit charge. Now it doesn’t work, I currently do not have plugged in and the whole computer is lagging terribly. I seriously don’t know if this could be a computer, charger, or plug-in problem. It is getting annoying and I truly do not need to spend more money on my laptop or its accessories. Any help is appreciated. :

Reset BIOS back to defaults.

Get into the BIOS, there should be an option to “Load Defaults”. Choose that and then “Save and Exit”.
